Heart of Gold Scarf
We've modelled the size and weight after our favourite vintage French scarves to create chic, easy to wear designs for every day use. Wear them wrapped once around the neck, tucked in to a jacket, or tied in the hair. Crafted from soft viscose, the fabric is a lighter, airier weight than our kimonos, with the same beautifully soft feel.
About the Print:
Introducing Heart of Gold — our beautiful & dramatic new collection that celebrates the bonds in our lives that endure — love, truth, and loyal friends! Designed using an intricate collage of antique artwork, it features hand-painted swallows from an 1865 scrapbook, floral wreaths by artist Karel Batist done in the 1600s, and a very special sacred heart from Notre Dame in France, which was embroidered with gilded thread and completed in 1872. This print is rich in history, but also in meaning. The two swallows with wings outstretched (traditional symbols of loyalty) carry a ribbon between them as a reminder that even across distances, those we love will always be a part of us. The vintage banner, pulled from a Victorian-era painted sign, proudly displays the motto “friendship, love, and truth”: a simple but significant declaration of what truly matters—the threads that tie us to each other, the loyalty that stands the test of time, and the love that makes it all worth it.
100% viscose (derived from plant fibres such as wood and bamboo). Handwash, hang to dry.
68cm x 155cm.
