They are washable, and include patch pockets. After many months of development, we're so excited to welcome this special new piece to our collection for cooler days!

About the Print:

Sometimes we stand quiet and steadfast — and sometimes we roar. Lionheart is a celebration of strength in all its forms: the fierce and the brave, the soft and the graceful. Created in collaboration with renowned artist and illustrator Jessica Roux — whose work is filled with intricate botanicals, timeless creatures, and a sense of quiet wonder — this design captures the heart of courage itself. At the centre of our print is Jessica’s majestic lion crowned with roses, his gaze both powerful and impossibly tender—our nod to Aslan from the pages of Narnia. Around him, roses bloom as symbols of love and friendship, while magnolias weave through the tangle, representing gentleness and resilience. Each flower is meticulously collaged from Jessica’s paintings, creating a beautiful tapestry of her signature style. An infinity symbol arcs above, a sign of boundless strength and eternal love. We invite you to step through the wardrobe, and in to Jessica’s remarkable world.

Cotton/spandex blend outer, lined in poly fleece. Machine wash gentle or handwash, gently reshape and lay flat to dry. 

Please note: Because of the unique custom-woven fabric of our cozy fleece-lined Cottage Cardigans, the artwork has a softer, vintage-washed finish with more muted colours than our other pieces. This is an intentional part of their look and charm. We take all our measurements on a garment lying flat. So the circumference would be roughly double the listed number. Lions have long appeared in art and storytelling as symbols of bravery, guardianship, and leadership, but they are just as often associated with tenderness and devotion. In nature, lions are deeply social creatures, known for their loyalty and quiet watchfulness as much as their roar. This duality has made the lion a lasting emblem of courage that protects rather than dominates — strength rooted in love.

For many of us, the lion also carries a sense of childhood wonder. From myth and medieval heraldry to beloved stories like the Chronicles of Narnia, the lion has represented a kind of goodness that is both mighty and merciful.
